Ultrasound Tech
Overview Performs ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Responsible for mentoring and training students in a cooperative learning environment. Responsibilities
Prepares patient for examination.
Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Or Equivalent Additional Educational Requirements Graduate of an AMA approved school for diagnostic sonography. Work Experience: Related Experience Preferred Additional Experience Requirements Previous experience post-training preferred. Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT certification or eligibility Required CPR or BLS Certification Required Additional Certification/Licensure Requirements Must maintain CE requirements and CPR certification. Required Knowledge and Skills: Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
