Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking a talented and dynamic Program Director to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Position Summary:

The Program Director collaborates with other Midwest Center leaders on all matters relevant to the delivery of quality patient care. Carries a therapy caseload up to five patients.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

*Provide weekly individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy

*Formulate & implement initial Treatment Plan and Master Treatment plan with updates

*Attends appropriate team meetings and coordinates and facilitates treatment planning & appropriate aftercare with Discharge Planner.

*Carries a therapy caseload of up to 5 patients and covers Therapist absences as needed

*Completes staff evaluations

*Assists in staff orientation

*Attend court hearings as necessary

*Attend weekly staffing

*Completes job-specific training with Therapist

*Collaborates with DCS on program development and oversight

Qualifications

Education:

Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling from an accredited school required.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of work experience in the behavioral health field. Minimum 2 years of work experience as supervisor required. Must have working knowledge of DBT.

Requirements: Must be 21 years old

Licensure/Certifications: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must complete DBT skills training certification course within 6 months of hire.
