What You'll Do
  • Assist in unloading and loading customers
  • Inspect outgoing material for accuracy
  • Move materials and items from receiving and/or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
  • Communicate with truck drivers through computer software, cell phones or two way radios
  • Placed finished product on trucks for shipping and scan tags on trucks
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required
  • Assist in performing inventory on material
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
  • Sort, stack, repair, clean, pack, remove, and dispose of materials as directed
  • Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
What You'll Need
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
  • Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
Your Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
