Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our In School Health team in Peoria, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

  • Interested candidates must be able to start by February 1, 2025
  • This position will be based at Manual High School but the In School Health APP must be available to travel to Peoria High School, Richwoods High School, and Trewyn Middle School in Peoria as needed
  • This position will primarily consist of completing school physicals, immunizations, and providing reproductive health clinical services/education
  • Hours will typically be 7:30 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday following a school schedule. Will be off during the summer and on days that school is out including holidays
  • Opportunity to work PRN during the summer for health fairs and community events
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
  • Carle Health is a not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility

Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing with Pediatric/ Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • At least one year of clinical APP experience is required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will be considered
  • Must have a valid IL driver's license in good standing
