Missouri School of Journalism - Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism Job Description
The Alumni Coordinator position is responsible for leveraging the growing alumni network of the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism to support current students in the program. The Alumni Coordinator oversees a mentorship program connecting current students with alumni, coordinates events to bolster those connections, and helps select student projects to support after graduation with the Method M Films Fund. Furthermore, the Alumni Coordinator develops professional opportunities for current Murray Center students by developing a festival strategy for students' capstone films, producing a newsletter on Murray Center events, and periodically visiting with Murray Center students and guest lecture classes. Key Responsibilities:
Shift
This is benefit-eligible, .75 FTE (30 hour) position. Monday-Friday, with some nights and weekends when necessary. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
