About the Job

This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.

Schedule is:

The schedule is Sunday - Thursday

Hours are 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Overtime and weekends are required based on business needs.

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

What Does It Take to be an Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates, and pallet wrap machines

• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year of non-related employment experience

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly

• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures

• Available to work overtime as required

What will you do as a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink-wrap customers' orders preparing them for delivery.

• Receive and stock inbound products in their designated locations. Rotate and replenish the current stock in its designated locations.

• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.

• Ability to understand and operate handheld computers and scanning devices for SAP that are used for all aspects of warehouse operations.

• Maintain cleanliness of the entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards for warehouse sanitation.

• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.
