Post-doctoral Position in nanophotonics

Job description:

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in nanophotonics in the research group of Dr. Shi. Candidates should have experience with the design and fabrication of nanophotonic devices.

Position Details:

The position is funded for two years and potentially one more year with mutual agreement. The position involves research on novel photonic system integration, nonlinear integrated photonics, and optical physics. Annual salary starts at $60,000 with annual raises. Benefits include health/dental/vision coverage as well as optional access to other university benefits. Start date is negotiable but preferably no later than September 1, 2025. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Required:

. A PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical engineering, Optical engineering or related fields
