SME in configuring Alteryx to convert and manage multiple input files.
e just hired someone a couple of months ago but need someone that is more of an expert in Alteryx configuration.
The four candidates we interviewed for the initial posting had Alteryx reporting experience, but not creating functionality, hence the higher level.
2-3 years experience as a SME is needed.
Every state has a different filing requirements - the data comes from about 20 LOBs. Automate data from excel from SAS.
SAS is not the preferred software so we need someone who knows Alteryx very well.
This person will have team members to work with on this and can allocate some coding

Alteryx SME to convert files from SAS and Excel to Alteryx
Our group utilizes SAS software to convert over twenty sales and use tax data files submitted to the Integrated Tax group monthly by various LOB's into a single file that is properly formatted for immediate import into our Sales/Use tax reporting software, Vertex Returns.
Our group files an average of 1,300 sales/use tax returns monthly, remitting over $18MM.
The role will be responsible for converting the Excel data files received monthly to Alteryx, replacing SAS as the automation software.
Any gap in our import process creates State and Local tax compliance risk in the event of software failure, resulting in monthly sales/use tax return filing deadlines being missed, causing a minimum late filing penalty of almost $2MM.
In addition to the data conversion project, we also have several enhancement requests, both from within our group to provide additional automation of manual processes, and LOB's whose sales tax remittances we support as part of the project scope.
