Description

Our Garden Segment is hiring an Associate Business Development Manager in the Bentonville, AR market. This individual will lead and execute business development initiatives for select categories to achieve annual net sales and financial targets, collaborate with sales managers and key customers to identify and deliver compelling and actionable solutions by mining data, analyzing business trends, industry developments, and relevant insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage business development strategies, drive action through data
  • Advance and manage short term objectives while executing on long term strategic initiatives
  • Communicate results and offer actionable insights to drive strategies and deliver on sales objectives
  • Manage and maintain successful business relationships with all stakeholders
  • Responsible for creating and developing data reporting designed to drive critical business decisions
  • Identify shifts in business and offer solutions through data analytics and use analytics to highlight supply chain opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross functional replenishment partners
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years business experience in sales analytics, category management or related CPG experience; general knowledge of consumer products or retail industry
  • Walmart vendor experience with proficiency in Walmart's Luminate Platform
  • Successful experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
  • Must be very detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and possess high drive and high initiative
  • Able to analyze large sets of data from multiple sources to drive sales, strong math skills, as well as learning new skills as needed; critical thinking skills, ability to "connect the dots"
  • Experience working with all levels of management and personnel both internally and externally; able to cultivate business relationships to help drive business and across multiple cross functional teams
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a high level of expertise in presenting clear concise results that drive action, to numerous levels of management and customers
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities, use good judgment, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel domestically (10%), if needed
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
