We are seeking skilled Operators to join our Austell team. In this role, you will operate high-resolution, variable and proprietary imaging equipment, specifically the HP Indigo 120K Digital Press or HP Page Wide Advantage 2200. You will be responsible for programming and preparing jobs for printing, maintaining production logs, and ensuring the highest quality output.

Responsibilities:

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment
• Program and prepare jobs for printing including adjusting image positions and managing print queues
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue
• Monitor and adjust color quality and resolution, perforations and folds on paper, etc
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as needed as well as maintain inventory levels
• Train and instruct junior operators on equipment setup and corrective adjustments.

We are hiring for 2 shifts:

First Shift 7am - 3:30pm

Second Shift - 2:30pm - 11pm

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $21.10- $30.24 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. • Requires advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and operational procedures
• Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function
• Requires advanced knowledge of color theory and ability to make adjustments and color corrections when operating the equipment to produce the imaging to customer specifications
• Proficient in file manipulation and familiarity with various file formats for digital printing
• Excellent knowledge and ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specifications
• Strong analytical skills to assess symptoms, identify potential causes, and implement effective solutions
