Material Handler / Forklift Operator

This Material Handler supports the Shipping & Receiving Department by safely, efficiently, and accurately moving and documenting product logistics within the department via electric forklift operation and the use of other powered equipment. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming loads
  • Prepare trailer for unloading
  • Inspect trailer and load (continue to observe for damage throughout process)
  • Unload trailer and ensure separation of items
  • Provide counts and location to receiving clerk
  • Prepare loads for further processing
  • Move loads to racks when receipt complete
• Process Shipments
  • Pick orders
  • Verify orders
  • Prepare orders for shipment
  • Prepare trailers for loading
  • Inspect trailer
  • Load trailers
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of reach truck and/or forklift operation in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read, write and comprehend required documentation
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Disclosure Statement:

• Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $15.76 to $19.06per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
