Child Group Swim Instructor

Position Highlights:

• Position: Child Swim Instructor (Private Lessons and Group Training)
• Location: Seven Bridges Fitness Center - Woodridge
• Per Diem
• Hours: Monday-Thursday 4pm-8pm and Saturday 8am-12pm (private lessons scheduled at your discretion)

What you will need:

• Requires the ability to read, to exchange information with customers and others, and/or to do basic arithmetic
• Requires a minimum of two years of High School. The ability to read, to exchange information with customers and others, and/or to do basic arithmetic.
• Current CPR issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross within 90 days

What you will do:

Prepares and leads children's aquatic and land classes to improve swimming techniques, self-esteem of children in class, overall body awareness, and improve cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance. In doing so, designs class routines, instructs participants in proper form and techniques and modifies class intensity and/or routine in order to address the needs of healthy and/or special population participants. Customer service is required for all Children's Swim Instructors. In addition, speaks with parents after each class to notify them of their child's progress. Customer service is required for all Children's Group Exercise Instructors.
