Reporting into the Director, Payment Accuracy, the Product Manager, Payment Accuracy will be assisting and leading our efforts in bringing transparency to the healthcare system driving payment accuracy into Availity's network as a core capability. The role will collaborate with the Director, Payment Accuracy for the payment accuracy platform with the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships, driving both operational excellence and collaborative success. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare administrative and payment systems.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management preferably in revenue cycle management or payment integrity.
  • Experience creating and executing roadmaps as well as leading a team to meet deliverables.
  • Experience managing customer expectations.
  • Worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines.
  • Possess technical acumen, the ability to describe and gather product requirements and get feedback from technical staff.
  • Knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, virtualization, and the impact of government initiatives and HIPAA privacy and security regulations on system design.
  • Knowledgeable of Agile processes.

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Healthcare Consulting and/or experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience working on the payer or provider side of healthcare technology

You will be:

  • Defining product vision and roadmap for a new payment accuracy platform.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and health plans to understand their workflows.
  • Developing or directing development of operational and reporting metrics to ensure product success.
  • Developing requirements to support operational and business needs.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback.
  • Working cross-functionally in a matrix driven environment.
  • Leading team of product owners and product analysts to execute against product vision.
