The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh are recruiting a plastic surgeon at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level whose career would focus on Gender Health, with expertise in Transgender Surgery, specifically bottom surgery. This academic surgeon will work with and potentially lead a multidisciplinary team in Gender Health. This position offers the opportunity to join a thriving academic, clinical, and research department with a residency training program and ACGME gender fellowship.

This individual would join an established plastic surgery department based at an academic tertiary care facility and engage in all aspects of academic surgery, including clinical care, teaching learners of all levels, clinical research, and service for the department, the institute, and regional/national societies. The ideal candidate must hold an M.D. and hold or be eligible for a Certificate of Added Qualification in gender surgery to be considered for the position at any level. Candidates who are fellowship trained in gender surgery are preferred.
