We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our teams in Colmar, PA. Earn $19.91/hour. Position Details The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support to Psychiatrists, Physicians, and Medical Directors on a daily basis that allows for the treating physician to provide the highest quality of client care while maintaining the appropriate administrative support. The Medical Assistant works directly with the supported Psychiatrists, Physicians, RN, LPN, and Medical Director as well as business office, administrative and clinical team to accomplish their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications * Completion of accredited program for example (AMT) or (RMA) with Medical Assistant Certificate required. * High School diploma or G.E.D. required. * Computer knowledge (for instance, use of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and data entry experience is required. Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required. * Ability to effectively meet competing priorities within expected timeframes * Certification as a phlebotomist is preferred. * Minimum 1 year experience working as a medical assistant, preferably in a behavioral health setting preferred.
