Overview

Pharming is seeking to hire a Legal Coordinator to bring support on legal priorities, including intellectual property and licensing matters. Our goal is for this individual to become a subject matter expert on the company's contract management system and serve as a primary point of contact for the contract management process. Successful execution will involve handling key responsibilities with minimal supervision and possessing strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. This is a hybrid role - must be able to report to the Warren, NJ office, 2 to 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Coordinator will be responsible for a wide variety of matters in support of Pharming's growth:

Core functions include:




  • Serve as an expert in Pharming's contract management system. Responsibilities include acting as a system administrator, screening and assigning contracts, routing for approvals and signatures, resolving user and system issues, and implementing operational improvements.
  • Act as primary point of contact for questions relating to contract management system and processing of contracts. Create and train others on system and communicate on system changes.
  • Assist with legal priorities including discovery, litigation support, employment and intellectual property matters, with discretion.
  • Coordinate Authorizations to do Business and State Manufacturers Licenses and assist with related audits.
  • Conduct research using internal and external databases and tools, as needed.
  • Assist with Legal Department budget and process payments to legal vendors, including outside counsel.
  • Support in the development and implementation of various contract templates; communicate updates.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments, as needed, to prepare responses to garnishments and subpoenas.
  • Organize and manage all legal files within SharePoint.
  • Provide other administrative support to the Legal Department, as needed.
  • This is a hybrid role; 2 to 3 days at Warren, NJ office.



Minimum Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/institution.
  • 4+ years of administrative support experience, related field a plus.
  • 3+ Years of experience in MS Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Teams),



Preferred Qualifications




  • Familiarity with contract management systems.
  • Pharmaceutical compliance/legal experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact confidently with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Have demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize and work well with multiple processes and personnel across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining current responsibilities.



Salary Range

Pharming takes into consideration a combination of candidate's work experience, training, and education, as well as the scope of the role, complexity, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level.

The base salary range for this job is from $65,000.00 TO $85,000.00 per year.
