How to Qualify:

Clinical Support Tech I

* High School diploma or GED.

* Listed as Nurse Aide I Registry with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience.

Clinical Support Tech II

* High School diploma or GED.

* Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

* Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Requires one (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and three (3) months of nursing assistant experience.

Nursing Assistant I

* No Education requirement as long as all other position requirements are met.

* Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience.

Nursing Assistant II

* High School diploma or GED.

* Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

* Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Six (6) months related nursing assistant experience.

Surgical Tech I

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program; or graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 3+ years of prior experience as a surg tech.

Surgical Tech II

* High School Diploma or GED or graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program or graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 5+ years of experience as a surgical tech.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

* Minimum of 3 years OR experience required.

* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) through The National Center of Competency Testing preferred.
