As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead our multi-family portfolio and drive operational success across multiple properties.

Job Summary

The Regional Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing GLM's multi-family housing portfolio, which includes a blend of market-rate and 55+ communities. This role requires a seasoned leader with experience in multi-family housing, real estate, or hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, a knack for driving results, and a deep understanding of how to optimize performance in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations across a portfolio of multi-family properties, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional resident experiences.
  • Team Development: Lead, coach, and support property managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, expense management, and revenue strategies to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Drive resident engagement and retention efforts by maintaining high service standards and promptly addressing concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties adhere to local regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Strategic Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement growth opportunities, including occupancy improvements, pricing strategies, and service enhancements.
  • Sales and Marketing: Work closely with leasing and marketing teams to drive occupancy, enhance visibility, and refine marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in multi-family housing, real estate, property management, or hospitality, with a proven ability to manage diverse portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving financial results, and achieving operational excellence.
  • Strong business acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, real estate, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
