Construction Department

The Construction team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way. Construction implements and executes upon the work product developed by the Development & Engineering (D&E) team. The team also manages Vantage's build partners to success through technical feedback and review, and actively participating in review of schedule and budget. Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight. One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our construction teams are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. When compared to external resources, our internal team can ensure the key stakeholders are engaged in the decision-making process to align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.

Procurement Department

The Procurement team is responsible for the management of delivering data centers from conception through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, Development, and Engineering along the way. Construction also works closely with partner contractors to come up with a vertically integrated design and manages these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget. Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight. One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our technical staff is given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. When compared to external resources, our internal team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.

Position Overview

This role will be based in Atlanta, GA.

Vantage is looking for a self-starting Finance Intern to assist in the CCF and FPA Department process and daily task efforts across several ongoing projects and vendors. In this internship program you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team that reviews and maintains job cost budgets, processes PO's, works with construction teams on financial forecasts for jobs, and creates financial reporting metrics and KPI's.

Essential Job Functions

Financial & System Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile job cost and operating reports with financial systems to ensure accuracy in tracking and reporting.

  • Reconcile job cost, accounting, and operating systems with internal financial reports to ensure consistency across platforms.

Data Processing:

  • Process purchase orders (POs) and manage data entry for various financial spreadsheets and systems.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial analysis reports for management, highlighting trends and providing insights into project costs and financial performance.

  • Analyze data and trends, providing input into financial models and construction reports. Input data into various spreadsheets and financial systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various teams within Corporate Construction Finance (CCF), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Construction, and Accounting to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Coordinate meetings and review sessions with stakeholders to discuss financial data, project costs, and other key performance indicators.

Spreadsheet and Report Creation:

  • Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets and analytical reports to support project finance management and performance tracking.

Additional Duties:

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction, Engineering, or similar field.

Experience:

  • Rising Junior or Senior status

  • Minimum GPA requirement - 3.0

  • Previous Internship experience preferred but not required

  • Experience in financial systems.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Positive and proactive attitude.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient with all aspects of modern working practice and tools, including MS Office, MS Teams.

Additional Details

  • Hourly range $20-$25/ per hour.

  • It is estimated that the internship will run from June 2, 2025 to August 15, 2025.
