What You Will Do:



  • Inside/counter sales for contractor, industrial and OEM market.

  • Support outside sales



  • Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service



  • Counter and other sales/support duties as directed



  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors



  • Commit to proactive andteam approach to sales



  • Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities



  • Promote heavily the DOTPCSG'sfor increased market share



  • Relationship building with will call customers



  • Daily merchandising display maintenance



  • Helping warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck)



  • Other duties as assigned





What You Will Bring:




  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)



  • Customer service focused



  • Ability towork directly with customers and suppliers



  • Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize



  • Able to use (or learn) NCE order entry software program Solar



  • Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel



  • Able to utilize internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information



  • Ability to work with manufacturer provided software for pricing and product information.



  • Detail oriented



  • Ability to learn manufacturer pricing programs



  • Good written and verbal communication skills



  • Minimum 2 year's experience in the electrical industry



  • Must have inside sales and/or counter sales experience





Physical Requirements and Work Environment:



  • Office environment
  • Frequent computer and phone use
  • Standing and lifting

  • Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.



  • Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance





Salary & Compensation:



  • This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
  • Pay is $19.52/hour - $24.38/hour, plus commission, DOE.
