JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems within the Smeal College of Business seeks to hire numerous Part-Time Teaching Assistants throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. Applicants will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems within the Smeal College of Business seeks to hire up to 3 individuals to serve as part-time Teaching Assistants in the Spring 2025 semester. These individuals will work closely with Dr. Chris Solo for his SCM 301 and SCM 301H courses. Successful candidates will work between 10 to 15 hours per week during the regular academic semester.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Holding office hours

  • Grading assignments

  • Keeping records in CANVAS

  • Assisting with laboratory & recitation sessions

  • Searching the business press for relevant materials
