Position Title: Pavement Management Coordinator

Minimum Requirements:



  • Education: Two-year college program or equivalent combinations resulting in accumulation of similar knowledge or skills.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience. Considerable previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.


  • Physical Demands: Work requires moderate physical exertion


Licenses and Certifications:



  • Valid Arizona Class "D" Driver's License upon hire.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the pavement management network and coordinate pavement related capital improvement and department operational projects. This is accomplished by implementing the collection of streets data and inventory, coordinating complex projects, developing and maintaining the five (5) year Pavement Management Plan, overseeing inspections and producing detailed reports.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:



  • A great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Previous experience working with a pavement management software application
  • Strong computer skills in all Office-related products and GIS
  • Municipal experience in Public Works Operations - Street Maintenance or a closely related field
  • A strong commitment to public service
  • The ability to read and interpret constructions drawings
